Job summary

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is seeking a dedicated Lead Field Technician to provide technical support for instructional hardware and software across district facilities.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine installations, configure technology, and assist staff in managing instructional software systems while upholding district policies and procedures. Reports to the Director of Technology and contributes to a reliable learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Excellent skills in communication, personal relations, and supporting multiple operating systems.
• Experience supporting web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for instructional hardware and software operation.
• Troubleshoots instructional hardware and/or software and performs or arranges for repairs.
• Performs routine installation and configuration of technology hardware and software.
• Assists staff in managing instructional software systems.
• Assists in enforcing procedures and policies regarding the use of technology hardware and software.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technology.

SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, 260 days per year

RATE OF PAY: $21.76 - $24.19 per hour

JOB GOALS: To provide technical support for the instructional and administrative needs of buildings and the District.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs routine installation and configuration of technology hardware and software.
• Assists staff in managing instructional software systems.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technology.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the applicable terms and conditions for this position.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.
