Job summary

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for After Sales employees, field service technicians, technical support teams, service partners, and customers. The role ensures staff have the knowledge to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Luminator products.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical training, field service, or customer support.
  • Experience delivering classroom and virtual training.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, transportation, electronics, or tech is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of products, systems, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Proficiency with LMS and virtual training tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
  • Create product, system, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to keep content current and accurate.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training for technicians, engineers, and service staff.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new After Sales employees.
  • Support product launches and refresher training sessions.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear learning materials.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness via assessments and feedback.

We are currently looking for Technical Trainer who will be responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs for After Sales employees, field service technicians, technical support teams, service partners, and customers.

The role ensures that employees and customers have the knowledge and skills required to effectively install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Luminator products and solutions.

This position works closely with Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, and Field Service teams to ensure training content reflects the latest products, technologies, and best practices.

What you will do:
  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, presentations, work instructions, and e-learning content.
  • Create product, system, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains current and technically accurate.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on technical training for Service Technicians, Field Service Engineers, Technical Support Specialists, Customer Service Representatives, Customers and Service Partners.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new After Sales employees.
  • Facilitate product launch and refresher training sessions.
  • Support the rollout of new products and technologies by creating and delivering training programs.
  • Translate complex technical information into practical, easy-to-understand learning materials.
  • Promote best practices for installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and participant feedback.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend corrective actions and additional learning initiatives.
  • Partner with U.S training, Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Technical Support teams.
  • Support customer training initiatives and service excellence programs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the After Sales knowledge base and training resources.
  • Develop and deliver Train-the-Trainer programs.
  • Coaching and mentoring of trainers to ensure consistent global delivery standards.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical training, field service, technical support, customer support, or aftermarket operations.
  • Experience delivering both classroom and virtual training.
  • Manufacturing, transportation, electronics, or technology industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technical products, systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training tools.
  • Ability to create engaging technical learning materials.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Instructional design and adult learning principles.
