Job summary

SR Technics Holding in Zürich invites a Training Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of competency and training programs across our Engine MRO organization, driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

You will own end-to-end program management, oversee classroom, practical, and digital trainings, and build a high-performing training team while aligning with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Engineering, Aviation or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in aviation MRO, technical training, learning & development, or operations and organizational development and program management.
  • Team leadership experience with coaching and developing individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA Part-145, FAA and OEM standards).
  • Experience with LMS, competency frameworks and training governance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve competency-based training and qualification programs for technical roles.
  • Ensure training compliance and audit readiness through governance and documentation.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of training programs with quality and timely delivery.
  • Lead planning and delivery of classroom, practical, and digital training including OJT programs.
  • Lead Training Administration and Operations, including resource planning and workload management.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize, digitalize, and optimize training processes and learning solutions.

We are currently looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Operational Training teams at Zurich Airport.

As a Training Program Manager, you will drive the development and delivery of training and competency programs that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance and workforce readiness across our Engine MRO organization. You will own the operational management, administration, coordination, and successful delivery of training programs.

Your tasks
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve competency-based training and qualification programs for technical roles, addressing capability gaps and training needs
  • Ensure training compliance and audit readiness through effective governance, documentation, qualification records, and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of training programs, ensuring quality, consistency, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of classroom, practical, and digital training and support the On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
  • Lead Training Administration and Operations, including resource planning, workload management and the development of the training team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize, digitalize, and optimize training processes, systems, and learning solutions to enhance efficiency, user experience, and organizational effectiveness.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Engineering, Aviation or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in aviation MRO, technical training, learning & development, or operations and organizational development and program management.
  • Team leadership experience with skill to coach and develop individuals is preferred
  • Good understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA Part-145, FAA and OEM standards) and engine maintenance or willingness to develop this expertise; MRO knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS), competency frameworks and training governance is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, ability to work effectively across all organizational levels with dynamic, hands‑on mentality and with passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Fluent English (C1) required; German (B1) is an advantage
