Zusammenfassung

OneDoc SA in Switzerland seeks a seasoned engineering leader to act as the CTO's right arm for execution. You own shipping the product on time at the required quality, spending most of your day coding and coaching developers, not in meetings.

This is a hybrid role based in Geneva or Lausanne with a permanent contract and a 100% load. You will break features into shippable slices, review daily code and designs, pair with engineers, own the release, and spot slippage early.

Qualifikationen

• Strong software engineer capable of navigating unfamiliar codebases and guiding engineers to concrete solutions.
• 7+ years building software, including delivering releases under pressure.
• Adapt processes to team needs while maintaining quality and predictability.
• Direct communicator with clear priorities for developers and leadership.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Break features down with developers, plan deliverables, and define the criteria of done including tests and rollback.
• Review code and technical designs daily to ensure quality and architecture.
• Act as sparring partner to unblock developers and guide problem solving.
• Own the release process, go/no-go decisions, hotfixes, and post-release checks.
• Identify root causes of slippage and communicate risks to leadership early.
• Model and uphold high standards in scoping, reviewing, testing, and communication.
