Kellenberger Switzerland AG in Goldach, Switzerland, is seeking a skilled Technical Customer Support Turning (Diagnostic Specialist) to service our precision turning and grinding machines. This role focuses on customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits, with independent handling of service technician assignments and involvement in offer creation.

You bring vocational training as a polymechanic, designer, or automation technician, along with years of experience diagnosing and repairing

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, designer, or automation technician.
• Several years of professional experience as a service technician and diagnosing/repairing complex turning machines.
• Experience operating, programming (ISO code), and diagnosing CNC turning machines with FANUC and Siemens Sinumerik controls (e.g., 840D / Sinumerik One).
• Solid knowledge in electrical engineering and mechanics.
• Strong technical understanding, logical thinking, independent and goal-oriented working style, and a reliable team player.
• Good written and spoken English.

• You are the contact person for our customers regarding technical problems with machines and provide support via telephone, email, and remotely directly at the plant.
• You independently take responsibility for the preparation and follow-up of assignments for our service technicians.
• You actively assist in the creation of offers.
• Close collaboration with other departments to optimize and accelerate problem-solving is also part of your duties.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a polymechanic, designer, or automation technician
• Several years of professional experience as a service technician as well as diagnosis and repair of complex turning machines
• Specific experience in operating, programming (ISO code), and diagnosing CNC turning machines with common controls, especially sound knowledge of FANUC and Siemens Sinumerik systems (e.g. 840D / Sinumerik One)
• You have solid knowledge in the areas of electrical engineering and mechanics
• High technical understanding, logical thinking skills, independent and goal-oriented working style, and you are a reliable team player
• Your English skills, both spoken and written, are good and enable efficient communication
