Zusammenfassung

Kellenberger Switzerland AG, a leader in precision turning and grinding machines, seeks a Metrology Technician to perform demanding measurement tasks for customer acceptance and internal production. You will programme and operate ZEISS, Leitz, Talyrond, and Jenoptik devices, develop measurement strategies, and support customers and internal teams on metrology and quality issues.

Qualifikationen

• Apprenticeship in a mechanical/technical environment (e.g., polymechanic).
• Solid expertise in 3D coordinate metrology and ideally form/contour/surface metrology.
• Industrial metrology experience in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerances and translate them into measurement strategies.
• Good technical understanding with analytic, structured, solution-oriented thinking.
• Independent, careful, and quality-focused with team spirit.
• Willingness to advance in AUKOM or hold related qualification.

Aufgaben

• Carry out measurement and testing tasks for customer acceptance and internal/external production.
• Programme and operate coordinate, form, contour, and surface measuring devices (ZEISS, Leitz, Talyrond, Jenoptik).
• Create, optimise, and maintain measurement programmes and measurement strategies.
• Support and advise customers and internal departments on metrological testing and quality issues.
• Create test plans and SPC analyses and evaluate measurement results.
• Analyse product deviations, identify causes, and initiate corrective actions with responsible departments.
• Contribute to the further development and standardisation of measurement/testing processes.

Metrology Technician (a)

Your tasks with us

• You carry out demanding measurement and testing tasks for customer acceptance as well as for internal and external production
• You programme and operate our coordinate, form, contour, and surface measuring devices (ZEISS, Leitz, Talyrond, Jenoptik, etc.)
• You create, optimise, and maintain measurement programmes and measurement strategies
• You support and advise our customers as well as internal departments on metrological testing and quality issues
• You create test plans and SPC analyses and evaluate the corresponding measurement results
• You analyse product deviations, assist in identifying causes, and jointly initiate appropriate measures with the responsible departments
• You actively contribute to the further development and standardisation of our measurement and testing processes

Your profile

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical or technical environment, for example as a polymechanic
• You have solid expertise in 3D coordinate metrology and ideally in form, contour, and surface metrology
• You bring practical experience in industrial metrology, preferably in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical environment
• You can confidently interpret technical drawings as well as form and positional tolerances and implement them into suitable measurement strategies
• You possess good technical understanding, think analytically, and approach problems in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• You work independently, carefully, and with quality awareness while also valuing teamwork
• You are willing to further your education in the AUKOM area or already have a corresponding qualification
