Job summary

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Technical Architect to help pharmaceutical, biotech and medical technology customers implement Life Sciences Cloud solutions. You will own defined components or workstreams, collaborating with experienced architects to deliver secure, scalable designs within a regulated environment.

You will engage with customers and partners on HCP/HCO engagements, medical affairs and patient services, contributing to solution design, integration and data migration

Qualifications

• Proficient in German or French for customer workshops and collaborative work.
• Authorized to work in Switzerland with valid permit if required.
• 3+ years in technical consulting, software engineering, or Salesforce delivery; 2+ years hands-on Salesforce implementation.
• Consulting experience with direct customer interaction and delivery of technology solutions.
• Solid Salesforce design, data modelling, security, and access management foundations; interest in broader architecture.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration and custom development; understanding object-oriented programming.
• Experience with APIs, integrations or data migration and explaining data exchanges.
• Awareness of data privacy and security in regulated Life Sciences; willingness to learn requirements.
• Agile delivery experience with ability to own components and seek guidance as needed.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills to explain tech choices to business and tech colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and translate business priorities into practical technical recommendations.
• Own defined solution components or technical workstreams within the overall architecture.
• Participate in discovery workshops and translate requirements for HCP/HCO engagement into designs.
• Configure and develop Salesforce solutions, contributing to data models, integrations and access controls.
• Ensure privacy, consent, security and auditability requirements are met with guidance from senior architects.
• Document design decisions, build prototypes and support testing and code reviews.
• Support data migration, deployment and release activities with data quality in mind.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to estimate work and manage risks.
• Explore automation and AI use cases under architectural guidance.
• Share reusable components and continuously improve consulting and architecture skills.
