Zusammenfassung

Wallee, a Swiss payment technology company, seeks a Senior Engineering Lead to own the architecture of our payment modules and to drive the technical direction of a critical part of our platform.

You will lead a distributed squad across Switzerland, Lithuania and Ukraine, partnering with the Head of Engineering to grow capability, manage delivery and elevate production quality in a demanding payments environment.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years leading a team
• Deep Java and Spring expertise
• Strong command of Hibernate/JPA and PostgreSQL performance
• Hands-on experience with microservices and cloud services (AWS)
• Payment industry experience a plus
• Experience running services in production
• English language fluency

Aufgaben

• Own architecture and technical roadmap of payment modules
• Lead end-to-end integration with acquirers and schemes
• Manage technical debt in a large codebase
• Drive platform evolution toward event-driven services
• Set engineering standards and code quality practices
• Lead and coach a distributed squad across multiple countries
• Ensure production readiness including monitoring and incident response
• Collaborate with Product Manager on discovery and prioritization
• Interface with architecture and DevOps on design and operations
