Job summary

Boschung Mecatronic AG seeks a System & Network Engineer to own and evolve our infrastructure across bare-metal, networking, security and software systems. You will work on Spine-Leaf architectures, OpenStack deployments and distributed storage, driving automation and architecture decisions.

You will administer GNU/Linux servers, implement IaC with Ansible and Terraform, monitor systems with Prometheus/Grafana, and collaborate across IT, product teams and partners to ensure high availability and

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years in systems, networking or infrastructure engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with GNU/Linux systems.

Responsibilities

Manage and evolve bare-metal, network and security infrastructure.
Operate Spine-Leaf infrastructure across compute, networking and security layers.
Administer servers in GNU/Linux environments and automate tasks with IaC.
Manage VPN, LAG, Trunk and VLAN configurations and monitoring.
Collaborate on DevOps activities including OpenStack deployments.
Ensure reliability and performance across dev/test/production environments.
