Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, seeks a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer to turn cutting-edge robotics tech into real customer value. You will integrate software and hardware, validate systems, and troubleshoot across software, hardware, and subsystems in a hybrid work setting.

You’ll contribute to perception, navigation, manipulation, and mission execution; work with software, electrical and mechanical teams; and develop tools and diagnostics to improve reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics is required.
• 5+ years of robotics, automation or autonomous systems experience.
• Strong C++ skills and Python experience.
• Proven track record integrating complex robotic systems.

Hexagon Robotics is a division of Hexagon – a global leader in precision measurement. The division develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and accelerate the transition from automation to autonomy. Our first humanoid, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and is already in pilots with five customers.

As a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for turning cutting‑edge robotics technology into solutions that solve real customer problems. Working at the intersection of software, hardware, and operations, you will integrate, validate, and deploy complex robotic systems that perform reliably in demanding real‑world environments.

This is a primarily software‑focused role requiring strong engineering fundamentals in C++ and modern development practices, combined with a hands‑on mindset and the ability to troubleshoot robots, sensors, actuators, and system integrations when needed. You will work closely with software, electrical, mechanical, and product teams to bridge the gap between individual components and a robust, field‑ready product.

Your Mission

Your Skillset

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or autonomous systems.
• Strong C++ skills and solid Python experience.
• Proven track record integrating complex robotic or autonomous systems.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Linux, ROS2, git, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Hands‑on attitude and willingness to work directly with robots and hardware.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile robots, manipulation, or humanoid robotics
• Relevant experience in industrial automation
