Solar Energy Materials Research and Testing invites an entrepreneurial CEO & Business Partner to lead the planned Swiss expansion and develop strategic commercial opportunities across Switzerland.

Candidates from diverse backgrounds with a strong Swiss business network and proven business development experience are welcome; the role focuses on industrial rooftop solar, residential and building retrofit projects, and partnerships with property owners, developers, and energy suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead local business development and market-entry initiatives in Switzerland
• Build relationships with factory owners, real estate developers, commercial property managers, and institutional clients
• Identify and develop industrial rooftop solar and building retrofit opportunities
• Promote rooftop leasing, energy-as-a-service (ESCO), and BIPV solutions
• Establish partnerships with solar manufacturers, EPC contractors, investors, and technical service providers
• Lead commercial negotiations and develop long-term B2B relationships
• Coordinate feasibility assessments and commercial proposals with technical and financial specialists
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective solar projects
• Develop local business strategies, monitor commercial performance, and report progress
• Coordinate efforts to expand the Swiss market
