Job summary

Our Geneva-based client is seeking a Collection Specialist who speaks Swiss-German. You will contact customers with overdue payments, verify and update contact details, and support processes ahead of outsourcing to a collection agency.

Key tasks include maintaining an Excel log of actions, guiding customers towards payment plans, and advising on best practices for difficult accounts while collaborating with management on escalation options.

Qualifications

• Customer friendly and able to interact by phone in Swiss-German.
• Experience dealing with subscriptions or retail customers.
• Agile and quick to learn new processes.
• General knowledge of credit collection and basic bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Call customers with overdue payments and verify/update contact information.
• Resend unpaid invoices and confirm resolution with customers.
• Escalate to management with options for gradual repayment or contract termination.
• Maintain an Excel spreadsheet listing actions taken.
• Provide feedback and develop scripts for future delinquent accounts.
