Job summary

Cornèr Banca SA is seeking a motivated Legal Collections Specialist based in Wallisellen to manage delinquent accounts and lead legal debt recovery efforts under Swiss regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams, legal partners, and authorities to maximize recoveries while maintaining professional client service.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in debt collection management within Swiss enforcement and judicial system.
• Solid understanding of Swiss debt enforcement and insolvency procedures.
• Fluent French (C1) and good Italian (B2); German knowledge is an advantage.
• Commercial diploma or equivalent qualification; related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and initiate, monitor, and follow up on legal debt recovery procedures.
• Prepare, review, and process legal documentation, maintain accurate case records, and monitor ongoing legal proceedings to ensure timely follow-up.
• Liaise with debtors, legal representatives, debt collection agencies, courts and public authorities; negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements where appropriate.
• Evaluate collection cases, recommend appropriate legal actions, and support the achievement of recovery targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Customer Service, and contribute to process improvements and recovery strategies.

Education

Commercial diploma or equivalent qualification

Degree in Swiss law / political science / related field
