Volpi Group in Dietikon, Switzerland, is hiring a Financial Accountant (100%). You will manage day-to-day Swiss accounting, ensure regulatory compliance, and support cross-border activities with the US while collaborating with the Swiss accounting team and management.

You will drive close processes, enhance internal controls, and contribute to ERP/Reporting improvements, including SAP Business ByDesign, within an international setting.

Qualifications

• Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting (or equivalent)
• At least 3+ years of professional experience in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
• Experience in financial reporting and month/quarter/year-end closings
• Experience in a Swiss SME/KMU environment (50–150 employees)
• Ability to take ownership of accounting topics end-to-end
• Knowledge of tax/compliance requirements and internal controls
• Experience coordinating cross-border finance activities especially with the US

Responsabilités

• Own day‑to‑day accounting for the Swiss entity (AR, AP, cash management, etc.)
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare statutory/management financial statements
• Ensure Swiss tax compliance and internal controls
• Coordinate group consolidation and intercompany accounting
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
• Support ERP/reporting enhancements, especially SAP ByDesign
• Act as senior accounting point of contact and drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate cross-border activities between Switzerland and the US
