The Procurement and Industrial Services Group (PI) at CERN is seeking a dedicated professional to manage purchasing activities in Geneva. You will process orders, request quotations, and ensure compliance with CERN's procurement rules while balancing cost and delivery performance.

You will negotiate terms with suppliers, resolve order discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support timely and compliant procurement across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience processing purchase orders up to CHF 3,000.
• Ability to request quotations and analyse supplier offers.
• Skilled in negotiating payment terms and delivery conditions.

Aufgaben

• Process, place, and follow up on purchase orders up to 3 000 CHF.
• Request quotations and compare offers to support cost-effective purchases.
• Negotiate payment terms, delivery schedules, and conditions.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delays, amendments and invoicing issues.
• Coordinate with technical officers to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
