Taula Capital Management (Switzerland) Sàrl is seeking a Portfolio Analyst in Genève to provide fundamental research and quantitative analysis for a commodity trading desk focused on energy markets. The role combines market knowledge, coding and commercial judgement to inform trading and portfolio decisions.

You will analyse US natural gas and regional electricity markets, develop Python/SQL models, automate reporting, and present actionable market views to traders and portfolio managers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in physical US natural gas and/or power markets.
• Strong understanding of US gas infrastructure and wholesale power markets.

Aufgaben

• Analyse and forecast US natural gas supply, demand, storage, and LNG feedgas demand.
• Analyse regional power supply and demand, including load and generation mix.
• Assess regional gas pricing, power prices, and market interactions.
• Develop Python and SQL models to automate analysis and reporting.
• Communicate findings to traders and portfolio managers via reports and dashboards.
• Translate research into actionable market views and trading recommendations.
