Zusammenfassung

Bulk Trading Gas & Power SA is seeking a Senior Specialist for Energy Commodities Trading and Analysis in Lugano. You will own a proprietary trading book across energy, agriculture and metals, with a strong emphasis on gas and emissions and US/EU cross-market arbitrage.

You will lead the desk's quantitative research, build advanced models, and drive integration of weather, hydrology and price forecasting into trading decisions. On-site, permanent role with a market-competitive package.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a quantitative field (Master's or equivalent).
• 8+ years in quantitative roles at banks/hedge funds/trading houses, 6+ years in energy research/trading.

Aufgaben

• Run a proprietary trading book across energy, agriculture and metals with P&L targets.
• Develop cross-market pricing, risk framework and analytical capabilities.
• Lead and grow the desk's quantitative research activity and methods.
• Design and productionise backtesting infra and data pipelines behind research.
• Own weather monitoring and probabilistic price forecasting for EU/US gas and EU ETS.
