Job summary

World Health Organization through the UNITAID partnership seeks a senior specialist in strategic operational planning and programme management based in Geneva. You will articulate priorities, translate them into organization-wide plans, and support cross-functional coordination across the Secretariat to improve coherence and funding alignment.

You will prepare data-informed analyses, lead planning processes, and support executive-level decision-making.

Qualifications

• Advanced University degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of strategic operational planning and programme management in international public health.
• Experience in executive-level cross-functional organizational management and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience in organization-wide prioritization, planning, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Articulate organizational priorities and strategies across the Secretariat.
• Translate priorities into coherent, organization-wide operational plans.
• Provide hands-on support to initiatives that strengthen planning and cross-functional coordination.
• Design planning and prioritization processes to enhance coherence and resource allocation.
• Prepare data-informed analyses and briefings for executive decision-making.
• Coordinate analyses and project management for organization-wide initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
