Job summary

Helvetia Schweiz is seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager in Basel to shape the IT service landscape and drive portfoli o governance across the lifecycle of services and applications.

The role requires a degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years of portfolio management experience within large organizations. Strong ITIL knowledge, stakeholder influence, and proficiency in ServiceNow are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in structuring and managing IT service or application portfolios in complex IT environments.
• Solid experience with ITIL-based ITSM processes and a strong understanding of how ITSM processes interact with the service portfolio and lifecycle.
• Proven track record of creating clear portfolio structures for complex service and application landscapes.
• Ability to align stakeholders across Business and IT and establish a clear basis for portfolio decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a transparent IT Service Portfolio showing services, applications, ownership and lifecycle status.
• Structure the landscape through portfolio standards and work with owners to ensure reliable data.
• Drive service lifecycle management with Owners from introduction to renewal or retirement.
• Create a shared portfolio view across Business, IT, Architecture, Operations, Finance and Market Units.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into consistent portfolio standards and decision criteria.
• Turn the target IT Service Management operating model into practice with portfolio processes and governance on ServiceNow.
