Baloise Group in Basel is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to shape the IT service and application portfolio across the lifecycle. You will build transparent portfolio structures, coordinate across Business and IT, and drive governance and lifecycle decisions with ServiceNow support.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics and 5+ years in portfolio management within large organizations, with strong English and German skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience structuring and managing IT service or application portfolios in complex IT environments.
• Solid experience with ITIL-based ITSM processes and understanding how ITSM interacts with the service portfolio and lifecycle.
• Proven ability to create clear portfolio structures for complex service and application landscapes and translate target operating models into practical standards, roles, and governance.
• Experience in large, complex organizations, ideally with distributed IT responsibilities and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to align stakeholders across Business and IT, resolve conflicting requirements, and establish a clear basis for portfolio decisions.

Responsabilités

• Create transparency and governance to manage our IT services and applications as a coherent portfolio throughout their lifecycle.
• Build and maintain a transparent IT Service Portfolio with ownership and lifecycle status for informed decisions.
• Structure the service and application landscape through portfolio standards and accountable owners.
• Drive service lifecycle management with Service and Application Owners from introduction to renewal or retirement.
• Create a shared portfolio view across Business, IT, Architecture, Operations, Finance, and Market Units.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into consistent portfolio standards and clear decision criteria.
• Establish portfolio processes, roles, and governance supported by ServiceNow.
