Job summary

Scholar Rock, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director/Director, FP&A to join the EMEA finance team in Zug, Switzerland. The role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to frame, evaluate, and drive financial decisions that maximize value creation.

The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of progressive finance experience in pharma/biotech, plus strong Excel, SAP, and Adaptive Insights skills. Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive finance experience in pharma/biotech.
• Advanced degree in science and/or business preferred.
• Experience partnering with Commercial and/or Medical teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner for the EMEA scope across revenue and OPEX planning.
• Support FP&A activities including budgeting and forecasting, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain patient and revenue models with appropriate underlying assumptions for direct and partner markets.
• Partner with EMEA Accounting on month-end and quarter-end close activities, quarterly schedules, procure-to-pay processes, and external reporting/audit inquiries.
• Deliver timely monthly budget-to-actual analyses, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes to increase efficiency while maintaining flexibility to evolving business needs.
• Develop and deliver training and change-management support to drive adoption of FP&A tools, systems, and ways of working across the organization.
• Support ad hoc strategic initiatives such as business development analyses, partner support, portfolio prioritization, and financing strategies.
