Julius Baer is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst, Performance- & Initiative Manager to drive finance projects for its private banking business in Western Markets & Switzerland. You will partner with senior management and regional finance teams, delivering insights on profitability, performance, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or comparable field of study.
• At least 4-5 years of experience in comparable finance or related function within banking or management consulting with focus on banking.
• Excellent Excel and data handling skills paired with affinity to derive in-depth quantitative analyses.
• Data visualization / BI tools knowledge (Tableau/Power BI) is a great advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, conceptual skills and fast thinker; team player.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Private Banking and global financial markets.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive and perform in-depth quantitative analyses to identify Front Office trends and P&L impact.
• Act as sparring partner to the Front in Finance topics with exposure to senior management.
• Support regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Develop tools focusing on automation and flexible, timely data use.
• Run business case assessments and market strategy reviews for decision making.
• Enhance Performance Management and reporting landscape to support long-term strategy.
