Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a Business Risk Manager to join the 1st Line of Defence in Zürich. You will support Front Office on risk tasks, coordinate with 2nd/3rd Lines, and deliver regional risk reporting while driving risk initiatives. A banking background and strong communication are essential.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in private banking risk, fluent English, and German is a plus. The role demands proactive, meticulous work and the ability to navigate a dynamic regulatory

Responsibilities

• Supports Front Office on risk-related tasks including risk & control self-assessments
• Collaborates with 2nd/3rd Lines of Defence and stakeholders for cohesive risk management
• Prepares and delivers regional/market risk reporting and oversight sessions
• Drives risk awareness and training initiatives across the region
• Provides risk-related support for regional/market projects
• Monitors remediation of risks, incidents and control gaps
• Coordinates with BRMs and internal stakeholders (compliance, legal, etc.)
• Leads change initiatives to improve risk management processes
• Supports strategic decisions balancing business objectives with risk requirements
