Michael Page is seeking a Finance Manager for an engineering company in the Sion region (Valais). The role acts as a business partner to the local Management Team, ensuring financial integrity, internal controls and regulatory compliance, while supervising the Accountant/Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities include monthly closings, operational reporting to the Business Unit and Group, budgeting and forecasting, and KPI analysis to drive performance and informed decision making.

Qualifikationen

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Several years of finance, controlling, accounting or auditing experience.
• Strong analytical and business partnering skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Solid internal controls, compliance and financial governance.
• ERP proficiency and advanced Excel.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate operational reporting to the Business Unit and Group.
• Maintain completeness and quality of accounting records.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-term planning.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses and KPI reporting.
• Act as a trusted business partner to leadership and support commercial decisions.
• Maintain internal control framework and segregation of duties.
