Qualifikationen

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Several years of finance, controlling, accounting or auditing experience.
• Strong analytical and business partnering skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Solid internal controls, compliance and financial governance.
• ERP proficiency and advanced Excel.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Job Description

As a member of the local Management Team, the Finance Manager acts as a business partner and is responsible for financial integrity, internal control, compliance and appropriate segregation of duties. Supervision of the day-to-day accounting and transaction processing are performed by an Accountant/Bookkeeper.

Financial Management and Reporting

• Own and coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate operational reporting to the Business Unit and statutory management and consolidation reporting to the Group.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy and quality of the accounting records prepared by the Accountant/Bookkeeper.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements and Group policies.

Controlling and Performance Management

• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports, variance analyses and KPI reporting.
• Monitor financial and operational performance and proactively identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions.

Business Partnering and Commercial Support

• Act as a trusted business partner to the President and Management Team.
• Support commercial and operational decision‑making through relevant financial analysis and sound judgement.
• Contribute to customer proposals, pricing decisions, contract evaluations and profitability assessments.

Internal Control and Financial Governance

• Own and maintain the local internal control framework.
• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties between accounting, approval, payment, reporting and control activities.

The Successful Applicant

• Higher education within Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or an equivalent.
• Several years of relevant experience within finance, controlling, accounting or auditing.
• Strong analytical and business partnering skills, with the ability to support commercial and operational decision‑making.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, with the ability to review and challenge financial information.
• Some experience and understanding of budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance and financial governance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in French & English, both spoken and written
• Experience of controlling within manufacturing or industry.
• Knowledge of Swiss statutory accounting, tax and regulatory requirements is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to improve financial processes, reporting and controls in a growing organization.
