Lonza in Basel is seeking a senior CapEx procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing for engineering services across major capital projects. You will collaborate with category managers, project leads, and cross-functional teams to shape supplier strategies and ensure compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities span market research, RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding.

Qualifikationen

• Proven strategic sourcing and procurement experience in engineering services and technical projects.
• Experience negotiating standard contract frameworks (SIA, FIDIC, NEC or equivalent).
• End-to-end procurement lifecycle management in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba).

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute category strategies for engineering services procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and enable project execution.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify qualified suppliers.
• Lead RFIs, RFP/RFQ processes, and commercial evaluations with contract finalization.
• Negotiate framework agreements and project contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Execute procurement activities from sourcing to PO placement, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capacity, pricing, and risk to inform decisions.
• Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities for category performance.
• Prepare analyses and reports for senior stakeholders; support Responsible Sourcing initiatives.
