SMG Swiss Marketplace Group is looking for a Corporate Communication Manager to strengthen the company’s reputation through clear, consistent and impactful communications. You will work across media relations and financial communications, with additional focus on internal communications and strategic projects, collaborating with Investor Relations and senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications.
• Experience in media relations and understanding of the Swiss media landscape.
• Experience or strong interest in financial and capital markets communications.
• Excellent writing and editorial skills with ability to translate complex topics for target groups.
• Comfort with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive topics.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple topics and deadlines.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, collaborative, reliable and quality-focused.
• Interest in digital business models and the technology sector.
• Fluent German and English mandatory, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Support development and implementation of corporate communication strategies aligned with SMG’s objectives.
• Manage media relations activities including inquiries, monitoring, press releases and Q&As.
• Oversee media relations for SMG’s Finance & Insurance business with stakeholders.
• Support financial communications with Investor Relations, including annual/half-year results, Annual Report and AGM.
• Assist positioning of C-level executives with key messages, speaking points and presentations.
• Support internal communications on Group topics and adapt content for internal audiences.
• Assist group-wide strategic topics and projects such as sustainability and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with senior management and Business Unit Communication Managers; coordinate external agencies when needed.
