SMG Swiss Marketplace Group is seeking a Corporate Communication Manager to strengthen the company’s reputation through strategic corporate communications. You will focus on media relations, financial communications, and internal communications while coordinating with Investor Relations and senior management.

You will help develop messages for C-level executives, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with various internal and external partners in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications.
• Experience in media relations and good understanding of the Swiss media landscape.
• Experience in or strong interest in financial and capital markets communications.
• Excellent writing and editorial skills, with ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused messages.
• Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive or time-critical topics.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple topics and deadlines in parallel.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, collaborative; reliable with attention to quality.
• Interest in digital business models and the technology sector.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Support development and implementation of corporate communication strategies aligned with SMG’s objectives.
• Manage media relations activities: inquiries, monitoring, press releases, statements, Q&As and spokesperson activities.
• Lead media relations and PR for SMG’s Finance & Insurance business with business stakeholders.
• Support financial communications with Investor Relations, including annual and half-year results, Annual Report and AGM.
• Assist positioning of C-level executives with key messages, speaking points and presentations.
• Support internal communications across Group topics and adapt for relevant audiences.
• Contribute to Group-wide strategic topics such as sustainability and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with senior management, Business Unit Communication Managers and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate external agencies and partners as needed.
