Philip Morris International in Lausanne is seeking a Category Leader to own the Cans & Lids Packaging category within our Direct Materials (DIM) Procurement team. Hybrid work pattern means three days in the office each week, with global and regional execution responsibilities.

You will define roadmaps, lead supplier selection and contract management, and drive value engineering, should-costing, and productivity initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of procurement or related supply chain experience.
• Expertise in injection moulding, resin sourcing, tooling, FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of global supply markets, suppliers, and cost drivers.
• Experience managing high-volume sourcing programmes and supplier performance.
• Knowledge of polymers, moulding technologies, and should-cost analysis.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for thermoplastic resins, injection moulding, and tooling categories.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management to deliver quality, cost, and service excellence.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive value engineering, should-costing, and productivity initiatives.
• Ensure material quality, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity across the category.
• Improve manufacturing and supply chain performance through process improvements and innovation.
• Manage contracts, pricing, tooling investments, and supplier performance metrics.
• Lead cross-functional projects and develop procurement capability across stakeholders and teams.
• Champion process standardisation and procurement excellence regionally.
