Zusammenfassung

VAT Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager in Switzerland to lead global direct materials categories (electronics). You will partner with Business Units, Engineering and Operations to develop and execute sourcing strategies, ensuring best-cost supply and regulatory compliance across regions.

You will manage supplier relationships, monitor KPI performance, and drive substantial cost reductions while expanding the Best Cost Country sourcing footprint, particularly in Eastern Europe and Asia.

Qualifikationen

• 3-4 years of strategic and operational sourcing experience.
• Experience with global category management.
• Experience sourcing in Eastern Europe and Asia.
• Proficiency with Office software, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors.
• Strong German and English communication.

• Represent direct material categories within VAT.
• Achieve objectives on cost optimization and category footprint.
• Lead category-sourcing boards and monitor risks.
