Job summary

Pos Service Holland in Switzerland seeks an experienced Buyer/Planner to support sourcing, purchasing and demand planning for manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. You will coordinate supplier orders, monitor material requirements and ensure timely product availability.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply planning, strong ERP and Excel skills, and solid vendor coordination. Travel to supplier sites about once per month is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Around 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Strong ERP knowledge and purchasing processes.
• Advanced or strong MS Excel skills.
• Experience preparing SOPs and process documentation.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent supplier coordination and follow-up abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Review demand forecasts and inventory to support purchasing decisions.
• Plan and place purchase orders with suppliers.
• Monitor open POs, delivery schedules and supplier commitments.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support planning for remanufactured cores and related inventory.
• Maintain purchasing, planning and supplier data in the ERP.
• Identify shortages, delays and supply risks and inform stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with sourcing, supply chain, inventory and operations.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs for purchasing and planning.
• Use Excel and AI tools to analyze data, prepare reports and improve processes.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Travel to supplier locations about once per month.
