Job summary

Adecco Switzerland is seeking an experienced Technical Planning Manager (100%) to translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing processes and to coordinate collaboration across engineering, production planning and international sites. In this role you will define production steps, ensure tooling readiness, and align requirements with global teams.

A strong background in mechanical/production engineering and ERP-based planning is essential, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Advanced technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering (HF/FH level or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in production planning, industrialisation or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer drawings into clear manufacturing processes.
• Define production steps, materials, tooling, and fixtures.
• Prepare and validate technical drawings, and ERP data.
• Coordinate production capacity, material availability, and tooling procurement.
• Align technical requirements with international engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor quality, schedules, and issues for externally manufactured components.
• Support transfer of manufacturing knowledge between locations.
