Qualifikationen

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience applying statistics in preclinical/pharma/biomedical environments.
• Demonstrated track record in advanced statistical methodologies for biological/translational data.
• Proven experience with modern statistical programming, reproducible workflows, and quantitative computing platforms, particularly R.
• Evidence of scientific contributions through publications, presentations, or development of analytical tools.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic statistical leadership across discovery, translational, and early research programs.
• Lead complex analyses across preclinical, translational, biomarker, imaging, omics, and human datasets using Bayesian methods, causal inference, longitudinal modelling, and ML.
• Develop innovative statistical methods and reproducible analytic workflows, especially in R.
• Support biomarker identification, evaluation, and validation for translational evidence-generation.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for target evaluation and portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with Translational Bioinformatics, Global Biometrics, Data Management, PK/PD, and other quantitative functions.
• Contribute to publications, ethics submissions, collaborations, and scientific communications.
• Mentor statisticians, scientists, and interns, fostering excellence and collaboration.
• Champion data-driven decision making and training across the organization.
• Establish relationships with external collaborators and CROs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
