Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience is required in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience working at medical device industry or pharmaceutical preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with R&D, Quality engineers and External Manufacturers to develop new product designs within a cross-functional team environment.
• Develop innovative Manufacturing solutions for soft tissue and shoulder reconstruction implantable devices.
• Establish relationships between product design features and manufacturing methods.
• Provide design for manufacturing input during reviews to ensure manufacturability and proper tolerancing.
• Manage manufacturing of prototypes for new product development and support trials.
• Prepare financial estimates of components and assembly costs.
• Provide analysis for feature and manufacturing cost tradeoffs during design.
• Support external manufacturers in process development, validation and stabilization.
• Assist ERP and Quality System assessments and deliverables.
• Mentor entry level engineers and oversee supplier work to optimize manufacturability.
