Audi Revolut F1 Team is seeking a metrology specialist to support quality assurance for composite components at Hinwil, Switzerland. You will perform precise measurements with 3D measuring arms, create inspection reports, and document deviations in the quality system.

We value hands-on experience with PolyWorks and strong reading of technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015). German or English fluency is required, with willingness to learn the other language and work in a two-shift setup.

Formación

• Completed technical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with several years in Quality Assurance, ideally metrology.
• Extensive hands-on experience with 3D measuring arms and PolyWorks software.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and measure composite components and related parts throughout production.
• Prepare and run measurements, develop programs, and write inspection reports.
• Identify deviations from drawing requirements and document non-conformities in the QM system.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Design, and Production to ensure task execution.
• Support departments on metrology topics and drawing requirements.

Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.

The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

• Inspect and measure vehicle components made from composite materials, as well as related individual components, lay-up tools, molds, and fixtures throughout the production process, using 3D measuring arms, 3D laser scanners, and handheld measuring instruments.
• Prepare and perform measurements, develop measurement programs, and create inspection reports.
• Identify and document deviations from specified drawing requirements.
• Record and process quality-related non-conformities in the quality management system.
• Work closely with Production Engineering, Design, and Production to ensure the efficient execution of measurement tasks.
• Provide support to various departments on metrology-related topics and technical drawing requirements.

Your profile

• A completed technical apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in metrology.
• Extensive hands-on experience with 3D measuring arms and very good knowledge of PolyWorks measurement software.
• Very good practical knowledge of commonly used handheld measuring instruments.
• Excellent skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including the geometric specifications they contain (ISO GPS 8015).
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to handle complex measurement tasks autonomously.
• A strong quality mindset, attention to detail, and reliability, even when priorities change.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation.
• Fluent German or English skills, together with a willingness to acquire basic proficiency in the other language.

Additionally, the following would be an advantage:

• Solid knowledge of composite component manufacturing and processing.
• AUKOM Level 1 and 2 certification or equivalent metrology training.
• Experience with SAP.
