Audi Revolut F1 Team is seeking a metrology-focused QA professional for its Hinwil, Switzerland base. You will inspect and measure composite components, develop measurement programs, and document deviations in the quality management system.

The role requires hands-on use of 3D measuring arms, PolyWorks, and handheld instruments, with a strong ability to read technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015). A two-shift schedule and language flexibility (German/English) are expected.

Formación

• Technical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with QA/metrology experience.
• Hands-on experience with 3D measuring arms and PolyWorks.
• Proficient with handheld measuring instruments and reading drawings (ISO GPS 8015).
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation; fluent in German or English with willingness to learn the other.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and measure vehicle components made from composite materials and related parts during production.
• Prepare and perform measurements, develop measurement programs and create inspection reports.
• Identify and document deviations from specified drawing requirements.
• Record and process quality-related non-conformities in the quality management system.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Design and Production to ensure efficient measurement tasks.
• Provide metrology support to various departments and ensure proper technical drawings.

Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

• Inspect and measure vehicle components made from composite materials, as well as related individual components, lay-up tools, molds, and fixtures throughout the production process, using 3D measuring arms, 3D laser scanners, and handheld measuring instruments.
• Prepare and perform measurements, develop measurement programs, and create inspection reports.
• Identify and document deviations from specified drawing requirements.
• Record and process quality-related non-conformities in the quality management system.
• Work closely with Production Engineering, Design, and Production to ensure the efficient execution of measurement tasks.
• Provide support to various departments on metrology-related topics and technical drawing requirements.

Your profile

• A completed technical apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in metrology.
• Extensive hands-on experience with 3D measuring arms and very good knowledge of PolyWorks measurement software.
• Very good practical knowledge of commonly used handheld measuring instruments.
• Excellent skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including the geometric specifications they contain (ISO GPS 8015).
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to handle complex measurement tasks autonomously.
• A strong quality mindset, attention to detail, and reliability, even when priorities change.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation.
• Fluent German or English skills, together with a willingness to acquire basic proficiency in the other language.

Additionally, the following would be an advantage:

• Solid knowledge of composite component manufacturing and processing.
• AUKOM Level 1 and 2 certification or equivalent metrology training.
• Experience with SAP.
