Job summary

Audi Revolut F1 Team in Hinwil, Switzerland, seeks a technically skilled contributor for component preparation, finishing and inspection for wind tunnel testing. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, finish and inspect test parts including CNC-milled and DMLS components.
• Perform surface finishing: sanding, grinding, painting, drilling, tapping, deburring.
• Pre-assembly and fit-check components for wind tunnel testing.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team.

Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship starting in 2026.

The team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe.

The Formula 1 Factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing.

The Audi Motorsport Technology Centre, UK, is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland). The role is fixed term for 6 months.

Your mission

• Preparation, finishing and quality inspection of test parts, including CNC-milled metal components, DMLS additively manufactured metal parts, and rapid-prototyped polymer parts
• Surface finishing operations such as sanding, grinding, painting, drilling, tapping, and deburring to meet required specifications
• Pre-assembly and fit-check of components for wind tunnel testing
• Performing dimensional and visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Your profile

• Several years of technical, hands-on experience, ideally working with rapid prototyping parts preferred
• Skilled in working accurately with hand tools and measuring equipment
• Independent and responsible approach to work, with the ability to maintain high quality standards throughout all work steps
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work in a 2-shift schedule
• Accurate and professional interaction with colleagues and superiors
• Team-oriented mindset with a high level of personal initiative and motivation
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• (Good English language skills; German language skills are a plus)
