Chain IQ Group AG is recruiting for an IT procurement professional to deliver value-added sourcing services across IT services, software, hardware, cloud, and telecom. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, rigorous market research, and performance monitoring to drive cost savings and process improvements.

You will work in a global environment with English and German communication, contributing to standardized procurement practices and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial IT procurement environment (outsourcing, software, hardware, cloud, telecom).
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for IT procurement, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions across IT services, software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and cutting-edge sourcing solutions.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams to understand and meet their IT requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
• Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial environment, with a focus on IT procurement, including IT outsourcing, software, hardware, cloud, and/or telecommunications.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication: Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
• Global Mindset: Comfortable working in a global setup with clients in the US and other European countries.
