Job summary

Chain IQ Group AG is seeking an Associate to the Global Head of Business Development to sharpen and execute the global BD strategy and automate client engagement with AI. You will collaborate with senior leadership and global teams, with a clear pathway into a full-time role within 12–18 months.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional initiatives, KPI framing, and training material development while shaping the future of procurement on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong interest in business development, consulting, or strategy execution.
• Strong affinity for data, technology, and AI/automation; hands-on experience with AI or automation tools is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including experience automating reports and presentations.
• Experience and intereste in Procurement and Managed Services.
• Structured, analytical, and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute the global BD strategy with the Global Head of Business Development.
• Roll out the BD & Engagement Management operating model globally, standardizing and simplifying ways of working globally.
• Identify manual processes across BD and EM and automate them using AI, RPA, and data-driven solutions.
• Implement and scale AI-enabled solutions on Chain IQ’s proprietary AI platform.
• Drive initiatives to shorten sales cycles and improve pipeline quality, including sales channel management and tracking.
• Define and refine KPI frameworks; structure, analyse, and interpret performance data across BD and EM.
• Prepare management-level reports and executive materials.
• Create training materials and playbooks, and support the global rollout of new processes and tools.
• Contribute to leadership communication and community calls, and join selected client meetings.

About The Role

As Associate to the Global Head of BD, you will help sharpen and execute our global BD strategy and drive the automation of how we sell and engage clients, with AI at the core. You will work on high-impact topics alongside senior leadership and global teams, with a clear pathway into a full-time role in Business Development, Consulting, or Engagement Management within 12–18 months.
