Job summary

Try&Hire seeks an experienced SRE/DevOps professional to design, deploy, and operate observability pipelines across logs, metrics, traces, and alerts. You will partner with development and platform teams to ship alerting and dashboards and build reusable templates for incident response and analysis.

The role emphasizes championing observability best practices and developing AI-powered tooling to enhance detection and response.

Qualifications

• Experience in an SRE/DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Proficient in Python or Go for tooling and automation.
• Hands-on experience operating open-source observability stacks (logs, metrics, traces, alerting).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and GitOps workflows.
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and solid Linux system administration skills.
• English required.

Job description

You will design and operate the observability infrastructure (logs, metrics, traces, alerts) behind a set of online services, working within a small, tool-agnostic team.

Your tasks

• Design, deploy, and operate observability pipelines for logs, metrics, traces, and alerts
• Partner with development and platform teams to ship alerting, dashboarding, and integration solutions
• Build reusable templates and tooling to streamline onboarding, incident response, and analysis
• Champion observability best practices across teams
• Build AI-powered tooling to sharpen detection, analysis, and response capabilities
• Evolve the observability platform iteratively based on internal stakeholder needs

What you bring

• Extensive experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role
• Comfortable writing Python and/or Go for tooling and automation
• Hands-on experience operating open-source observability stacks (logs, metrics, traces, alerting)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and GitOps workflows
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and solid Linux system administration skills
• English required

Conditions

• Workload: 100 %
• Work model: On site
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it

• 3–6 months interim, then a permanent position
