Zusammenfassung

Proton is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Infrastructure Systems team in Geneva/Paris. You will manage a global server network, build automation for reliability, and participate in on-call rotation to resolve complex issues.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, Kubernetes, and Python skills, plus experience with IaC tools and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana). You will help design HA architectures in diverse environments, including security-focused scenarios.

Qualifikationen

• Linux internals, networking, and kernel tuning.
• Kubernetes orchestration with IaC using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar.
• Python for automation scripts.
• Highly Available distributed systems design.

• Oversee and optimize Proton's global server network.
• Design and implement automation to achieve 99.95%+ uptime.
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Develop advanced monitoring and alerting for real-time visibility.
• Engineer connectivity, stability, performance, and security improvements.
