Job summary

Proton seeks a DevOps Engineer to own and scale CI/CD infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes clusters and GitLab CI pipelines. You will advance GitOps with ArgoCD, enhance security across the software supply chain, and troubleshoot complex infra across multiple layers.

A strong programming background (Python, Golang or Rust) and automation skills are essential. Join our Geneva-based teams for impactful work.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes experience on real systems under load.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience, GitLab CI is a plus.
• GitOps in practice, ideally with ArgoCD.
• Programming skills in Python, Golang or Rust to build and maintain tooling.
• Configuration management with Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Security-minded DevSecOps experience, supply chain security is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale CI/CD infrastructure, managing capacity and reliability.
• Deepen GitOps workflows and manage cluster state across environments.
• Advance supply chain security posture with SAST and artifact attestation.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues across network, app and system layers.
