Swissquote, a leading digital bank in Switzerland, seeks a Site Reliability Engineer for Cloud Operations to migrate and modernize production apps on Kubernetes, integrate third-party software, and collaborate to enhance reliability and performance. You will join a fast-moving team responsible for scalability and operational excellence across our cloud platforms.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps or similar production-focused role.
• Hands-on experience running production workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS.
• Strong knowledge of Helm for packaging and maintenance.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Understanding of service-to-service networking, traffic routing, mTLS and TLS.
• Experience with GitOps and canary/progressive delivery strategies.
• Familiarity with SRE concepts like SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience with observability and tracing tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
• Comfortable automating with Python, Go or Bash.
• Interest in applying AI to observability or incident remediation.
• Interest in operating AI infrastructure and GPU resources.

Aufgaben

• Migrate and modernize production applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Integrate third-party software into production platforms to fit operational standards.
• Collaborate with Software and IT Engineers to improve reliability, performance and readiness.
• Design and operate applications on the service mesh platform.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and KPIs, then drive improvements using them.
• Improve observability across metrics, logs and traces for easier troubleshooting.
• Explore and integrate AI tools for troubleshooting and remediation.
• Provide Level-3 support and participate in on-call rotation.
