Job summary

SmartCanula Sàrl in Lausanne is seeking a Production & Site Operations Manager to own the Lausanne site, work hands-on in the cleanroom, ensure on-time shipments, and keep quality records. The role requires technical training or a degree in a relevant field, and 2+ years in production or a regulated environment.

Fluent in English and French, with cross-border eligibility. The position is 60% and days on site are Tuesday to Thursday; you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate

Qualifications

• Technical training or degree in a relevant field (medical tech, process/chem/mech engineering).
• Swiss or EU/EFTA qualification welcomed for the role.
• 2+ years in production, lab or cleanroom in regulated env (ISO 13485).

Responsibilities

• Run and supervise semi-automated production in the cleanroom following ISO 13485.
• Monitor processes and improve efficiency and robustness.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Organize sterilization cycles and maintain traceability records.
• Prepare and ship customer orders.
• Receive materials, check conformity, and store properly.
• Follow up on supplier orders and deliveries.
• Perform first-level maintenance and coordinate service providers.
• Ensure regulatory and quality readiness for audits.
• Report to Supply Chain Manager and coordinate with Frankfurt team.
