Job summary

Gramian Consultancy is seeking an experienced Production Unit Manager for a Swiss luxury precision-components manufacturer. The role is on-site in Neuchâtel canton, requiring strong technical leadership and a focus on quality and process control.

You will oversee a small technical team, drive industrialization of new references, optimize resources, and ensure manufacturing procedures are strictly followed. Fluent French is required for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in precision manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience with specialized production or material-application processes on high-precision components, especially SuperLumiNova.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, process control, and quality standards.
• Fluent French required for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of a specialized precision manufacturing unit.
• Optimize equipment use, materials, and workforce to meet targets.
• Coordinate production priorities with delivery requirements.
• Supervise and support a small technical production team.
• Ensure strict manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
• Contribute to industrialization of new products and references.
• Evaluate tooling and raw-material needs for new activities.
• Establish robust processes to ensure consistent quality.
• Provide first-level technical support for production issues.
