Job summary

STAAR Surgical Company in Switzerland seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support the ICL manufacturing processes at the Nidau and Brügg sites. You will help develop, expand, and sustain production capabilities, ensuring quality and productivity in a highly regulated medical device environment.

The role requires engineering degree, strong English, and optionally French or German; 1–3 years of medical device experience, project management skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Very good English (oral and written); French or German desirable.
• 1–3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, expanding and sustaining ICL manufacturing processes.
• Apply project management to ensure on-time completion.
• Assess processes for adequacy of methods, equipment and documentation.
• Establish test methods, collect data and write technical reports.
• Train technicians and operators on protocols and procedures.
