Job summary

Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks a PMO Lead to establish and lead site-level portfolio governance, ensuring local initiatives and global projects align with standards and are delivered with transparency. You will work with Site Leadership, sponsors and PMO Head to manage risks, milestones and benefits.

The role requires leadership experience in Biologics GMP environments, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across functions and regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead site portfolio governance, including project intake, validation, prioritization, approval and periodic portfolio reviews
• Maintain an integrated site portfolio, covering local initiatives and global projects requiring site resources
• Provide accurate and timely visibility of portfolio status, milestones, financials, resource demand, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits
• Facilitate portfolio prioritization and scenario planning with Site Leadership Team, based on strategic alignment, financial benefit and risk
• Coordinate resource demand and capacity planning across site functions and escalate constraints
• Ensure projects follow applicable project and portfolio management standards, governance requirements, and reporting routines
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks and issues, escalating as needed
• Coach project sponsors/managers and coordinate site-level training on portfolio processes
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, data quality and reporting
