Job summary

Swisslinx AG seeks an experienced PMO Lead to establish and develop a structured Project Management Office in Visp. This role focuses on building a scalable PMO framework, governance, and portfolio management processes to improve delivery, transparency, and business performance.

The candidate should bring 10+ years of PMO leadership experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive data-driven decisions across cross-functional teams in a life sciences-adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive PMO leadership and portfolio management experience.
• Strong governance design and implementation experience.
• Proven track record building scalable PMO frameworks.
• Experience aligning portfolio work with business strategy.
• Fluent English; German is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish the PMO operating model including structure, roles, governance and standard ways of working.
• Develop PMO methodologies, tooling, reporting standards and a phased maturity roadmap.
• Lead portfolio planning and governance, including intake, prioritisation, stage-gate and executive decision-making.
• Establish project controls covering risks, RAID, change control, financial performance and resource capacity.
• Define portfolio KPIs, forecasting processes and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Implement data governance, reporting architecture and portfolio tools to create a single source of truth.
• Assess capabilities, identify gaps and define future PMO structure and priorities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance to align portfolio execution with strategy.
