Job summary

TOTSA TotalEnergies Trading SA in Geneva invites an experienced Shipping Operator with a seagoing background to coordinate international maritime operations from our Geneva team. You will manage the full voyage lifecycle, liaise with shipowners, charterers and internal colleagues, and ensure execution in line with contracts, procedures and HSE standards while seeking optimization of schedules and costs.

• Minimum 3 years' seagoing experience as an Officer on LNG/LPG or oil carriers.
• Solid experience in maritime operations, shipping or fleet management.
• Strong understanding of voyage operations and the maritime environment.
• Familiar with shipping contracts, operational processes and voyage execution.
• Rigorous, reactive and able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with reliability and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping operations from pre-fixture to post-voyage.
• Act as a key contact with shipowners, charterers, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Trading, Chartering, Technical, Vetting and other support functions.
• Ensure voyage execution in line with contractual terms and internal procedures.
• Optimize voyages for chartered vessels considering safety, efficiency and cost.
• Monitor performance, incidents, delays and related costs.
• Support risk management and ensure HSE compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.

What You Will Do

As a Shipping Operator, you will coordinate daily shipping operations and ensure the safe, efficient and compliant execution of voyages from pre-fixture to post-voyage.

• Coordinating and monitoring vessel operations across the full voyage lifecycle.
• Acting as a key point of contact with shipowners, charterers, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with Trading, Chartering, Technical, Vetting and other support functions.
• Ensuring voyage execution in line with contractual terms, operational requirements and internal procedures.
• Optimizing voyages for chartered vessels, taking into account safety, efficiency, timing and cost.
• Monitoring operational performance, incidents, delays and associated costs.
• Supporting risk management and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes and ways of working.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

Mandatory requirement: A minimum of 3 years' seagoing experience as an Officer on gas (LNG or LPG) or oil carriers.
