Job summary

TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping in Geneva seeks an experienced Shipping Operator to coordinate daily maritime operations from pre-fixture to post-voyage, ensuring safe and compliant voyage execution. The role requires a seagoing background and strong collaboration with shipowners, charterers and internal teams.

The position focuses on optimizing voyages, managing risks and upholding HSE standards in fast-moving global markets, with a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of seagoing experience as an Officer on gas (LNG or LPG) or oil carriers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping operations and ensure safe, efficient voyages from pre-fixture to post-voyage.
• Act as a key contact with shipowners, charterers, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Work with Trading, Chartering, Technical, Vetting and support functions to execute voyages.
• Ensure voyage execution aligns with contracts and internal procedures.
• Optimize voyages considering safety, efficiency, timing and cost.
• Monitor performance, incidents, delays and related costs.
• Support risk management and adherence to HSE standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.
